CASE Study 1
Our customer in Hong Kong is looking for a 10-way Power Distribution Panel with alarm function, designed for installation inside a 19-inch rack cabinet.
The customer is currently using Conta-Clip terminals for their existing terminal application. However, due to the long lead time and high procurement cost, they have selected SIGNALMAX.NET to design a new Power Distribution Panel solution.
SIGNALMAX.NET has designed a 3U rack-mounted Power Distribution Panel with DIN rail mounting and an integrated internal alarm card. The feed-through terminals are securely fixed by screw connection.
Terminal Specification:
- Mounting type: TS 35/7.5 and TS 32 DIN mounting rail
- Rated cross-section: 10 / 16 mm²
- Terminal width: 10 mm
All terminals are connected using low-friction, fire-resistant wires. The other ends of the wires are terminated directly to the alarm card for monitoring and reporting purposes.
The alarm card is designed to monitor and report the following parameters:
- Voltage (V)
- Current (A)
- Frequency (Hz)
- Power consumption (kWh)
- Phase failure / phase imbalance detection
Panel Structure:
- Top section: 2-pole MCB for incoming protection
- Middle section: Vertical DIN rail terminal blocks for power distribution and signal tapping
- Bottom right section: Alarm PCB module with fuse, relay, and indicator
Through this new design, our product design team has simplified the overall workflow, improved installation efficiency, and helped the customer reduce procurement costs by more than 50%.
In addition, the production time can be shortened to only 30 days.
CASE Study 2
Planar Lightwave Circuit (PLC) fiber splitter within a STAR network is essential for efficient signal net distribution.
SignalMAX.NET offers a comprehensive range of 1xN and 2xN splitter products designed for specific applications. Each splitter ensures guaranteed optical performance and high reliability, conforming to GR-1209-CORE and GR-1221-CORE standards.
In a centralized splitter configuration that complies with ITU-T G.984 and G.9807 series recommendations, a 1x32 optical splitter is typically installed in an outdoor plant enclosure at the feeder-distribution interface. The input port of the splitter connects to the Optical Line Terminal (OLT) located in the central office via a single feeder fiber.
On the distribution side, the 32 output fibers become part of the signal net, routed through optical distribution frames (ODFs) or fiber access terminals (FATs). These fibers then connect to the drop network, delivering optical links to 32 individual Optical Network Terminations (ONTs) or customer premises nodes.
This configuration allows for efficient signal distribution from a single OLT port to multiple subscribers while maintaining standardized optical budget and loss performance as defined by GPON and XG(S)-PON physical layer specifications.
